A VO platform is simply whichever website you use to find, audition for, and upload work. They connect you to authors or employers and keep a piece of your earnings for themselves as their fee. Your profile should be a good representation of you and your skills.
Now it’s time to log on. Popular VO platforms are the Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX) and Fiverr, but there are many more.
Every platform will want to know a little about you as a voice over artist. Sign-up will go faster if you have it on hand before you start. Basic information they will ask for may include

Step 3 and 4 overlap a bit, because in order to fill out your profile, you need to upload at least two samples. So let’s move on…
